***Next Friday will be the start of CF 128’s “Mock Open” which will run through the five weeks of October. Every Thursday evening there will be a LIVE workout announcement from the gym, a bunch of old Open workouts will be placed in a “hopper”, one will be picked out at random. That workout will then be tested by the coaches that evening and will be the programmed workout for all classes the following day (Friday’s).

We will work this just like we would come the 2021 Open at the end of February. Each person will have a judge, a member or coach that will count your reps, ensure proper range of motion and hold up movement standards throughout the workout.

As always, the Open is made to be FUN! Yes it can get a little competitive at times but it is really meant to bring the community together, build some comradery, cheer for the ones that finish first and even louder for the last one left on the floor. Hopefully (fingers crossed) we can host some sort of get together at the end of the month to celebrate the hard work everyone puts forward through out the month…let’s get it!!!!***

1. Deadlift Skill Work:
3×7, moderate weight (5-10# heavier then last week), with form and control

2. “All Purpose”
7 Rounds:
5 Front Squats (155/105)
5 Jerks
5 Handstand Push Ups
